ISO Kick-Off Ceremony
July 18, 2022 – Today marks the start of a monumental journey of FMIC as it held the kick-off meeting for Integrated Management System (IMS) ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certification, involving all board of directors, executives, managers, employees, and representative from Rosehall Management Consultants Inc., the 3rd party contracted firm to help the company attain the aimed ISO certification.
The objective to comply and certify for the Integrated Management System (IMS) is planned to achieve this next year and is expected to pave way for more customers and level up the confidence of the market in patronizing FMIC’s core services – Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil Works.
The kick-off meeting was led by FMIC CEO and president, James D. Bernardo, and the Senior Consultant from Rosehall, Mr. Dennis Orge whom the decades of consulting experience are instrumental in the company’s multiple contracted IMS projects.
During the kick-off, Mr. Orge has explained the key activities and 4 phases of attaining the IMS compliance and certification; Planning and training, System Development, Implementation and Maintenance, and System Improvement and Certification. The entire project was set to be accomplished for 12 months.
“I have started this company 21 years ago, and I’m very proud of what it has become. However, I can’t be here forever; we can’t be here forever. The dream is, even we are no longer around, FMIC can stand on its own for 50 or 100 years and more”, said by Mr. James D. Bernardo, CEO & President.
In 12 months, FMIC will officially be an ISO Certified, ticking off another one of its plans for its thrive for being a market disruptor locally and work on global expansion.
